Amalie cardigan is a slightly oversized cardigan that is knitted from the top down in a structural pattern, and with rib around the neck and at the bottom of the arms and yoke. This is a somewhat short model, but both the yoke and arms can easily be knitted longer after your desired length.

Sizes: 9-12 mos (1-2 yrs) 2-3 yrs (3-4 yrs) 4-5 yrs
Length: 30 (32) 34 (36) 38 cm
Width (chest): 58 (60) 64 (66) 68 cm
Suggested needles: Circular needles 4,5 og 5 mm (US 7 and 8, UK 7 and 6). DPNs 5 mm (US 8, UK 6).
Gauge: 21 m per 10 cm structural pattern/ 17 m per 10 cm st st on needle size 5 mm
Yarn and yarn quantity: 150 (200) 200 (250) 250 g Sandnes Garn Double Sunday or another light yarn knitted together with 50 (50) 50 (50) 75 g Sandnes Garn Tynn Silk Mohair or another lace (3) yarn quality
In addition you will need: 6 (7) 7 (8) 8 buttons with 15-20 mm diameter
